Church Groups & Activites

House Groups

Various dates and times
Small groups meet in members' homes to study topics relevant to Christians, share experiences or generally develop their Christian faith. During Lent members join with friends from other churches.

Time for Prayer

A time for shared prayer or quiet prayer but with the fellowship of others.

Platform 10¾

Twice monthly - Sunday at 8.00pm
As Harry Potter began his magic life by going through Platform 9¾ at Kings Cross Station, so we invite our teenagers to enter another dimension by thinking about spiritual things. A small group meets on the first and third Sunday evening of each month for activities, fun and learning.

Sunday Club

Sundays 10.30am
The Sunday Club welcomes children from 3 to 14 years to come and learn about Jesus and what the Christian faith is all about. Worship, activities, discussion and fun are all part of the programme. There is a Creche for under 3's.

Coffee 'n Chat

Tuesdays 10.00 - 12 noon
If you are lonely, want a chat or cup of coffee, or simply want to take the weight off your feet for a few minutes then pop in. You are likely to meet housewives, young mothers, men on leave from work, the retired and part-time workers. There will be all sorts of friends ready to make you welcome.

Coffee 'n Chat Extra

Frog's Toddler Club

This is a meeting place for young parents, grandparents, carers and their children. On Wednesday mornings coffee and conversation flow freely while children play with toys designed to meet the needs of all stages of pre-school development - £1.50 for carer and first child; 50p for each extra child. Refreshments for carers and children included. You would be most welcome!

Uniformed Organsations

  • Rainbows 5.30pm Wednesday
  • Brownies 6.00pm Thursday

All are busy lively groups. The Guiding movement has its own programme of activities working for badges in different areas. In addition to this, they share in occasional Parade services and church events.

Sundays 4.00 - 5.30pm (occasional)
Martin Way is the base for the SIGMA - the Wimbledon Circuit Youth Choir. Theirs is a powerful demonstration that young people (and not so young) have a faith to proclaim in a lively - yet thoughtful - way through their music and drama.
